Travelling to Torquay
Coach is the easiest and cheapest way to travel to Torquay and provided you have given the School the full details of your arrival your Host Family will be at the Coach Station to meet you.
Please let the School and your Host Family know if you are delayed or will be arriving late and it is advisable to let us have a mobile number that works in England so that contact can be made in case of an emergency.
Visas
We issue letters of invitation for visa purposes.
Holidays
The School is closed on National holidays www.bankholidaydates.co.uk Lessons on these dates will be replaced with Full Day Excursions. The School is closed from the 17th of December 2011 until the 8th of January 2012.
Insurance
We recommend that all visiting students arrange in their own Country full travel insurance for the duration of their stay including their travel to and from England. The School has Public Liability Insurance for five million pounds.
Payment of Fees
IMPORTANT : We must receive the total amount on any invoice in English Pounds and all Bank Charges should be paid by the student. Details of the Schools Bank Account will be included in the invoice.
Accommodation
Accommodation starts on the day before the commencement of the Course (normally a Sunday) and ends on the day after the course has finished (normally a Saturday). Extra nights are available so please ask the school giving us as much notice as possible. Students will in peak periods be accommodated in all areas of Torbay including Torquay, Paignton, Brixham and Newton Abbot.
Your accommodation information will be sent to you as soon as possible however at peak season there can be some delay, but details will be sent to you in plenty of time prior to the commencement of the course.
