HOLIDAY LANGUAGE COURSES JUNIORS/TEENAGERS (minimum age 12)

Please note that arrivals are normally on a Sunday and Departures on a Saturday. Minimum Course period is two weeks.

     Course Price Includes

  •   Accommodation and registration fees.
  •   15 hours tuition per week (in busy periods maybe am or pm)
  •   Circa 15 students per class maximum - normally 12
  •   Students will be met on arrival normally at the Lymington

         Road Coach Station, Torquay by a Representative of the

         School and will be returned on the day of departure.

  •   Host Family accommodation in shared room* with breakfast,

         packed lunch and evening meal.

  •   On arrival in Torquay students will receive a Welcome Pack

         including a map and local information literature.

  •   On the first day students will be taken to the Teaching Centre

         where they will be met by a Teacher.

  •   At the Teaching Centre they will receive Course Material but

         please bring a pen !

  •   Students will take a test to ascertain their level of English.
  •   Activity Programme. Five afternoon activities per week plus a

         full day excursion on the Saturday and three evening

         activities per week.

  •   End of course presentation of Teachers Reports and

         Certificates.

  •   24 hour emergency support

ENGLISH LESSONS AND SAILING COURSE

Why not combine your Language Course on The English Riviera, Torquay with a Royal Yachting Association Level 1 Sailing Course.

This is ideal for the beginner with three sessions of three hours and includes sailing waterproofs, all the necessary safety gear and at the end of the course you receive a Royal Yachting Association Certificate.

The students who already have some previous sailing experience can be awarded with a higher certificate depending on their ability.

 

There is also a FUN SAIL COURSE for those who do not want to take on the main Course.  This consists of the students having a Fun Sail learning all about the boat and how it works. This includes turning, starting and stopping whilst enjoying a sail across the bay. The total time for this session is three hours and includes all waterproofs, life jackets and at the end a Royal Yachting Association Taster Certificate.

Level 1 Course Fees are £130 for Full nine hours including all equipment 

Fun Sail Course Fees are £45 for full three hours including all equipment
